どこへ行ってもスタバがあってマックがあって..

独自の文化を持っていた地域も

独自の価値観を持っていた人たちも

みんなが白人の「豊かさ」を求めはじめる。

 

過去には、それは暴力で

現在はそれに経済力が加わって

世界全体が雪で覆われていくように

すべてが白人のスタイルに覆われていく。

 

世界はいろいろな色で満ちていたのに

すべてが白に塗り替えられていくようだ。

 

村全体を、街全体を、国全体を

そして子々孫々と伝えられてきた伝統や思い出まで

あらゆるモノやコトが

白一色になっていく。

 

文化も価値観も多様性を失うと

衰退していくような気がするのだけど。

自然と同じように。
